Could we be starting with a 3-5-2 formation using wing backs?

Whitbread, Ward and Martin as CB's, Lappin and Bennett as wing backs, Howson, Hoolahan and Fox as a middle three. Thoughts? It's probably just 4-4-2 and i'm overanalysing things again.
