as said friend is best mates with a current Millwall player. Apparently he (Whitbread) would like to stay. Oh, and he doesn't have an interest in football outside of work. Here endeth the extent of my insider knowledge.

Oh, one more thing, regarding one R's demeanour - apparently he is just 'like that' and it doesn't mean anything.
