Sarkozy thanks French intelligence forces for their 'remarkable work'

not obvious what they did that was so remarkable, really. Bloke who was alreay being monitored is able to carry out three deadly attacks without being stopped. Then they have a 32 hour siege of his flat before killing him.

Which bit is 'remarkable', I wonder.
