Anyone know how the ballots work for away tickets?

Do they just pick an application out of the hat and see how many season ticket references it has on it?

I'm going to apply for Arsenal away and I'm after 6 tickets. I have 6 season ticket refs but not sure whether I'd be better putting all 6 on one application or spreading them about on multiple applications.

Someone told me once they sort applications with multiple references first and then slot the single applications around them
