OK, I'm in agreement with you about getting them out as much as possible

As we do a lot of travelling it is more for him to use when we are travelling, as we only have one portable DVD player it sometimes causes arguments between him and his younger brother!

Or for times when he wants a quiet few minutes, without his lego, dinosaurs, animals in his bedroom he can take himself away and have a play on the tablet.

A DS is a portable game console that all kids seem to have, we have so far refused to baulk into pressure and get him one and considering that you can get a tablet for not much different ?? that does a lot more it seems a much more sensible option.
