Dad had emergency surgery at 3am to drain fluid from around his heart, a week after his open heart surgery, and was still described as 'stable'! We were anything but, that night...

Fast forward three months, and he's just walked half a kilometre today without pausing for breath.

Christ, think I'm going to have to stop typing about this now. Need something else to think about.
