The Premier League and its bloated contemporaries around Europe with their collective obsession with the Champions League is in danger of rendering all other football redundant, not least international football.

Clearly this isn't good enough for him and the Premier League. Brian, listen, take your "top clubs" and feck right off and join your Euro Super League, seriously now, do it and see how the rest of us manage in your absence.

You do your thing and the rest of us will muddle on somehow. Really.
