Bizarre quote from Worthy re injuries

it was little surprise to find Worthington thumbing through Terry Venables' book of managerial quotes at Colney.

?I think I heard Terry say once that when he once saw a light at the end of the tunnel it was actually a plane coming the other way,? said Worthington.

Did Venables really say "plane" or is Worthy cocking up his quotes? I can't help thinking that then word "train" would make more sense...

Anyone know??
