Our old dog ate my brother's Easter egg two years in a row.

Foil and all. Didn't do him any harm that we could see.

He also ate a yo-yo string when he was a puppy (the dog, not my brother) and shat out a string of turds all attached. It was a thing of beauty, especially when half completed.
