If you've got some proper old planks underneath everything, do it-you won't regret it.

Its a lot of hard work and the sanding machine is an utter bastard, but the end results, wow!

Get a couple of rugs and its looks great-makes rooms light, bright and, well, they just feel fresh and clean. The only carpet we have now is on the stairs. Really don't think I could go back to carpets all round the house now.
