'89 FA Cup qtr final away at Wet Spam - We took thousands down

There was a massive crush outside the away end and we only just got in before kick-off. It was so packed we couldn't get on to the terrace so ended up stood in a gangway the whole match, consequently I could only see the far half of the pitch.

No memories of the match itself as it was a fairly drab draw and I couldn't see much anyway. Just remember being genuinely scared for my safety due to the amount of crushing on the terrace. Of course this was only 5 or 6 weeks before Hillsborough.
