Scenario: one house, a number of pooters

What we'd like: any person in the house to be able to access their own stuff, and some shared stuff, whichever pooter they're on

Old Skool: set up a network and a share

New Skool: I'm guessing this is achievable with some kind of cloudy thing, without the need for me to run a server all the time. Can you get (essentially) hard drives with wifi connectivity that you can leave on all the time for everyone to access? Or, are there commercial providers that would give access to x amount of storage online and we could link to transparently from the various pooters? We've got n level wifi and fast broadband (50Meg virgin - it's the tits).
