Seriously though, very few other parts of the country seem to have had that set-up. I know someone from Crewe who also went to first and middle school, but that's it. Everyone else went to primary and secondary. Though I note that the schools back home in Taverham have now been changed to infant and junior - whether that makes any difference or not I've no idea.
