Let me explain...

I don't want private healthcare companies to take over the NHS (which amongst other things would involve massive legal bills).

I want the NHS to be transparent when things go wrong. Yes that may involve more legal bills but I think the rights of people who have been harmed by the NHS and pay for the NHS deserve to know the truth. Some legal costs might be saved in some cases because cases wouldn't have to drag on for years. Exposing the truth would also reduce the chances of the same things going wrong time after time - and so save legal costs in the longer-term
