the thing is though it's got bits and pieces of what was in the Lib Dem Manifesto in it
- getting rid of the link between where you live and which GP you can register with
- scrapping of PCTs (to be replaced by local council and GPs so there comes the 'postcode lottery' but that recognises that not all of England's health needs are the same, that's a swings and roundabouts thing imo)
- putting front-line staff in charge of budgets and spending decisions
as for choices of provider - well that was in all 3 main parties' manifestos and to an extent so was the turning over of decisions to hospital nurses and doctors etc, even the right to register with a doctors' surgery close to work was in Labour's - so not a massive difference there either
