as a member of my family works in the NHS and I don't have private health cover.

Regarding the 3rd point.

There was an amendment put forward in the House of Lords for a salutatory law obligation for 'candour' (transparency) throughout the NHS.

This was rejected.

I watched the debate, and the Tory Lords said they didn't want patients having these rights because it would cost the NHS a lot of money to defend an increase in cases.
