I don't disagree

I have to be careful what I say incase they check the servers and track me back!

Basically, we have a system for recalling goods. It's a recovery job from another company and we've bolted on some additional functionality. The issue we have is essentially down to time scales. To win the business, we promised it would be done in time....never possible.

The existing system was massively complex and we've never taken the time to understand that and build appropriate test scenarios. The client (and our own internal tests) are being done from the previous test scripts. Internally the tests failing should have been the point where we delayed, corrected the data and tested properly, instead they chucked me infront of the client. Not at all impressed.
