Whatever Else The FA Cup Final Is...

PLEASE don't let it be a Liverpool vs Everton final.
I couldn't stand it.

It'd be all about the "marvellous fans". And then something about the "marvellous fans". Followed by a bit about our Dave-who supports Liverpool and, oh my aching sides, his wife, our Debbie...who supports Everton!

Ken Dodd would be interviewed by just about anyone.
Stan Boardman would put his helmet on and tell anyone who's interested that "the geeermans bombed our chippie"
Then we'd be reminded about how "marvellous" the fans are.
Kenny Dalglish would be canonised.
Kevin Keegan "I remember playing in the 1974 FA Cup final, the fans were marvellous".
"And they're so knowledgeable about the game"
Clive Tydesley would need a spare pair of trousers, "look at that, Wembley a sea of red and blue, its marvellous"

....all day and for weeks afterwards.
And then it would be a s**t match that Liverpool won, 1-0, cue "Gerrrrarrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrddddddddddddddddd" for a tap in.

Please no.
