A lot of the big boxing pay per view main events are starting to become like that

not that I think boxing is becoming a work, but they are starting to impliment far more 'sports entertainment' into their events. Haye vs Klitschko was the same with grand entrances, even going back to Haye's promo's as far as two years previous to the fight, t-shirts with severed heads, lots of smack talk. Then there was the gang rape comment on Audley Harrison...all just a ploy to reignite the public's dying enthuasiasm towards boxing, UFC is now the king of pay per view although i'll never personally be a fan of the action that takes place in the ocatagon.
