Beating Leicester today would have made no difference to that. We also would still have been eighth in the premiership if we had won today.

I want us to win next weekend but the reality is that even if we play well we probably won't win. Resting players today was idiotic and I for one an really disappointed in lambert for what happened today.

That said he is still our best manager in my supporting lifetime and has brought me many, many great moments in the last three seasons. I just wish he was not so disdainful of the FA cup.
