Oh OK, as long as she didn't do it on purpose! My ex-gf's sister

had a mate (yeah I know it sounds like an intro to one of Hendrikus' transfer stories but this is absolutely 46% true) who went bald like that almost overnight at 13 years old when her brother was involved in a car crash which smashed his face to bits and almost killed him.

They kept saying it might grow back one day but last time I saw her was 4 years later and she only had the odd tuft. Poor kid.

Apparently there is nothing wrong with the follicles at all in that disorder - for some reason the hair just falls out and stops growing and can start again at any time.

I'm still convincing myself that I have it too....
