You might like The Corner of Miles and Gil by Shack ( I may have mentioned them before).

You wouldn't really call it Jazz, but the title gives a clue to the inspiration.

Noel Gallagher just rated it No.3 in his list of all time great unknown albums. Although to be fair, it was released on Sour Mash (Noel's label). Still a f**king amazing piece of work.
