I've always been quite cynical and scathing about LinkedIn.

Always seen it as a sort of Facebook for people who think they're really busy.

However, I have recently had contact from some agencies I wasn't aware of ( I thought I knew all the ones in my field) that have put me forward for stuff. Also had an email through there from a bloke I'd forgotten about, he's introduced me to a firm in Leeds. Went to see them for an interview/assessment last week and they've just made me an offer for a contract. Just trying to firm up start dates now.
