Job Centre

The job centre wont really help you get back to work, its up to you, so good luck.

I have been made redundant 3 times since the age of 48.

First time didnt claims any benfefits and got back to work in 3 months.

Second time, at age 58, did sign on as it gets harder to find work as you get older, It soon became clear that the job centre is only there to authorise benefit payment.

Anyway found another job after 8 months.

Then made redundant again at age 60 (not good) am currently claiming benefit while looking for more work.

It is possible to find work, but dont expect the job centre to be much help.
