prices for many things are now close to what they are in the uk

and bank loans and stuff like that are just stupidly expensive.
Mind you though, where you get stung in the uk is on multiple taxes and utility prices, which are frankly incredible to me now. You'd have to earn about 20k a year just to get by ffs!
