Where can I find a cheap holiday?

So I'm trying to book a family holiday for 7 First week of August, something sunny but cheap ideally Spanish or Greek island but open to ideas. Looking at 300-350 per person for flights transfers and accommodation. Seems like it can be done but every place I find seems to have awful reviews on trip advisor, should I listen to these reviews are all reviews generally negative. Anybody know of good sites to book on or good destinations or tips etc?
