But just found this on the BBC

"Chelsea's accounts show that $45m (?28m) was spent as a result of firing manager Carlo Ancelotti and hiring Andre Villas-Boas. Football finance analyst Andy Green has calculated that Chelsea have spent $102m (?64m) in the last four years on managerial changes."

?64m!!!! Add the ?50m they paid for that useless striker and thats a lot of wasted money!
