by those managers (not Lambert) on utter s**te. Would be interesting to see a list of players signed between summer 04-09 who played less that 50 games for the clubs, a lot I would think, such was the turnover.

I imagine Gunn was paid f**k all, but his performance probably warranted that! Lambert wouldn't have been on much at the start, I doubt double his Col Who wages (at a guess) would be much. I think Grant and Roeder would have had decent wages, Grant being Worthy's replacement when the club still had money and Roeder having a (only?) good performance at Newcastle as his last job on his c.v.
