he had an excellent first game against columbia and i thought he was pretty good against austria. I just can't understand what fans have got against the guy, he's really first class.

I think it might be because people expect him to win headers and score goals from crosses. He had one header against austria and it was a bit tame, so i suppose people latched onto that and said 'he's useless'. But that's never been his game. Maybe these idiots who call themselves fans are just latching onto germany 2006 fever and know f**k all about football and have never seen crouch play for pompey or saints, let alone england U21s or NCFC.
