View from the away end

Sat in the away end with my Dad who's a Bolton fan. Credit to their fans, they made a good amount of noise, less said about 'Fat Frank' the better, being off your face and 12 stone over weight is nothing to be proud of!

Thought Norwich were excellent for the most part today. Midfield was excellent today, hard working and good on the ball. For 25 minutes we were the only team in it and should have been ahead with a couple of good chances. With Ayala and Whitbread going off I though Bolton came in to it but we were never troubled in defence.

Second half we picked up the tempo again, our goal killed Bolton completely. They never really threatened but after that we were never in danger and should have added a couple more with Holt's two chances before Pilkington scored.

In all, excellent display. Surman, Fox, Pilkington were hard working, inventive and kept the ball well. The defence, you would have barely noticed we had two full backs in the center and a winger at right back. I'm not going to mention Drury in this as he's still a class act. Holt was only missing a goal, the same could be said of Jackson, they worked well together, both had good games. In all, a well deserved 3 points.
