Amen To That

If we play badly and no-one minds and no-one is bothered and it doesn't matter because "look how far we've come" -then playing badly becomes an acceptable option and part of peoples mindset, including players...

Saying its not acceptable to play badly doesn't mean we don't expect it ever to happen-just that, when it does, people will say, come on, not good enough...look how far we've come-because *thats* when that line applies, when we haven't been very good, not as an excuse for not being very good.

I'm sure Barca fans throw a wobbly whenever they only win 2-0 or something, so, if its good enough for them and all that. Demand excellence at all times and expect it, then everyone will hook into that scheme of things.

Its the way ahead.
