thing is.....

while i suspect it was chase who welched on the funds primise, we only have MON's word on it. To my knowledge Chase has never been interviewed about it so we only have MON's version of events.... I have celtic supporting mates who say that despite getting to the UEFA cup final with celtic, 2 days after losing in seville MON demnded millions more from the board saying he would need X amount to go on and win it....

The board considered the "request" but thought that as they were so close to winning it with what they had they disagreed with spending much more....

MON walked......
