marco reus; came up through the dortmund youth academy.... sold to lower league club and turns out in their second string for a few games in non league matches. breaks into their first team (german 3rd division) and attracts the attention of ine borussia moenchengladbach and eventually signs for them. on jan 4th 2012, reus signed with his former club borussia dortmund, for a transfer fee of ?17.5 million, on a five year deal that will keep him at the club until July 2017
