I chose to work there a few years back, in the late 90's, early 00's - really, really enjoyed it but suddenly one day it hit me that I wanted to leave and next day handed in my notice, was offered 9k pay rise but even that wasn't enough to keep me........there was something in my head saying i'd had enough of the city living!

Great that everything is so accessible, liked the tube/transport links, array of restaurants great etc etc but have only ben back once in 12 years!

I presume youare a singleton? Not a place I'd bring up family but thats a personal opinion - my best man moved there a few years before me and is still there now with his now wife and 2 kids and they all love it so its a personal thing

PS - it is f'ing expensive - a 1 bedroom flat then was ?606.66 a month (?140 a week) and that was 12 years ago!
