Others you could get to get a range of tastes and styles - Futureheads, Libertines, Strokes 1st album (Is This It), Kings of Leon, Early Radiohead albums like The Bends, Doves, Cooper Temple Clause (who are playing Norwich 25th August). Also try maybe The Others, The Bravery and The Killers who would be a bit more poppy and he would appreeciate at his age.
