Ever watched a home game in the away end?

My Dad's a Bolton fan but lived in Norwich the last 30 something years. Been some years since Norwich have played Bolton but in the past we would sit in the Norwich ends with my Dad supporting Bolton. Everyone knew, but it was never an issue as he was there every other game supporting Norwich. Tickets in the home ends are nigh on impossible to get as we're not members but we were able to get 3 for the Bolton end on ticketmaster. Has anyone ever done this, what's the etiquette, am I allowed to give my Dad some s**t if we score? Would be strange to be an undercover fan in my own stadium just so I can watch the game with my old man.
