Blackpool Shmackpool

In season 2009/10 under Lambert:
we took 45 points from the first half of the season, and 50 from the second half.
In season 2010/11 under Lambert:
we took 39 points from the first half of the season. and 45 from the second.
So far in season 2011/12 under Lambert we have played 3 teams twice. From the first run of 3 games (2 at home, 1 away) we took 3 points. From the return fixtures (1 at home, 2 away) we have taken 7 points.
The only reason for supposing that we will "do a Blackpool" is because Blackpool did. The notion that we could do the same flies in the face of our current and past performance under Lambert.
