The growth of blogs and people being able to launch and design/write their own websites is all very well and great, everyone can contribute and do their writer/bedroom journo thing, not a problem for anyone...

...however, it does make flights of fancy and overtly idle speculation look vaguely authoratative and shows that when you are doing this football site work that part of your brief is doing research and some background work to give your story some credence, rather than clutching at any old thing.

But when even the nationals are guilty of doing it, then its hardly surprising! So I'm off now to blog about the exoected bid from Liverpool for Morison and our interest in, ooooh, lets see. Bradley Wright-Phillips....
