when Graham Rix was still in charge there (the season before the play-off season????)

I was sat on the front row of the city stand right next to the away team's bench so had a great view of this. Rix was in his technical area watching the game when a couple of St. John's people walked past dead quick with thier stretcher and bags and stuff and took him by surprise - he did this sort of jump out of the way and looked at them, and then he noticed that one of them was a particularly saucy blonde, early 20s-ish, so he nudges his assistant and nods towards her in a "did you see the arse on that" kind of way. They share a bit of a chuckle, but I didn't hear what was said. Quick as you like a bloke a couple of rows behind me shouts out "Oi, Graham, she's a bit old for you isn't she?"[*]. And his face as it dropped from high mirth to bitter hatred was a picture - he did this big fake belly-laugh thing and goes back to his bench with a face like a slapped arse.

[*]: For those who weren't aware of the reference, Rix once did 6 months of a 12 month strech for having sex with a 15 year-old girl, the dirty old man.
