But i know it must have been really poorly informed and trying to make Pete look like some Junkie loser. He isn't - he is one of the best songwriters and performrers of this generation, and is tryoing to get rid of his demons as we speak. I love The Libertines, but I think Babyshambles could even be better music wise, but ungfortunately without the chesmistry of Pete n Carl. I hope The Libertines get back eventually but it will be interesting to see them do their own thing for a while. Did u see The White Stripes review in NME - its been given the kiss of death 8/10 rating!
