always strikes me as odd that certain people seem to think that the only sort of people that can be arsed to leave behind everything they know in the hope of making a new life and more money in a strange new country where they may not know anyone or even the language are those that just want to sit around on their arses doing nothing but claiming benefits.

seems to me that if they've got the gumption to want to make something of their lives, then that's the same sort of entreprenurial spirit that the same people are always claiming government with their red tape are killing off.
