I hate to jump on the Gary Neville borefest bandwagon

BUT he actually talks sense. He is the only pundit who I've heard say "well it looked a penalty until I saw it in super slow mo from this angle, so it's impossible for the ref at times"

Shearer would have said about that Dyer pen "you can quite clearly see that's not a penalty" like he did on Saturday about Adebayor's offside goal (despite the defender keeping him on being RIGHT on the other side of the pitch probably out of view.
