Far too much being read into the press conference yesterday

The Pinkun Twitter account referred to it as the "Dean Windass moment" which is bollocks.

The board have backed the manager every window so far, we do have money but we clearly have to spend wisely. At the end of the day, a player is only worth what someone is willing to pay for him. If you offer ?3m and they want ?5m, then he stays. Simple.

For what its worth, I don't think we NEED anyone to come in this month however I still think that player(s) will come in this month.
