what is scary is Everton is probably one of the better run clubs

The Player wage bill is horrific.

To give some perspective, Everton has much larger home crowds than us (and better sponsorships) so their income of 82M+ beats ours which is estimated by Bowkett at being 60-65M this season.

Its easy to see how clubs like Bolton run up 110M of debt.

To me the dream of being a self sustainable PL teams is almost impossible.

You cannot compete with teams who are willing to spend vastly more money than they are bringing in.

To me reading stuff like this convinces me more and more to stick to our wage cap......

Even if it means losing Lambert and /or relegation

If we go down this road of crazy wages and massive debt there is no way back.

Everton owners are looking to sell, they know where its heading.......
