^^ this is very important - leave at least an extra hour, hour and a half for your journey

they were closing it all weekend not so long back, took me an hour and a half to get into Godmanchester where normally it'd take me 20 minutes

traffic was queued all the way from Brampton, though Huntingdon and Godmanchester, all the way down the A1198 onto the A428 to near enough Cambourne

the radio were saying tailbacks on the A1 to St Neots and then all along the A428 to Caxton - and then into the Cambourne queue
