I think Lambert's frustration is as much about the inflated costs for average players as it is with the board. Despite his obvious ambition I believe he is as pragmatic and realistic on what is possible as McN and Bowkett and sees himself as key as those 2 in maintaining a sensible balance. l believe he see his achievements here as showing a model of what can be done despite limited resources not as a frustration.
Yes, he will move on sometime but its not imminent.
I also won't be surprised if 3 new faces turn up next week.
