Personally I think its because of his signings in Jan they went down

Holloway felt compelled to buy, unfortunately the players he bought were no better than what he had. He then had no idea of his best team/formation and constantly changed it in the second half of the season (Not subtle changes here and there like Lambert, wholesale changes for each game) this ultimately meant they lost their rythym and momentum, got found out and got relegated
