Anyone out there good at solving "My First is in XX and also in XX" riddles?

I have one that I cannot decipher.

My first is in RHYTHM and also in RHYME

My second in PUNISHMENT and also in CRIME

My third is in CACHE but never in HIDING

My fourth is in TRAIN but not in SIDING

My fifth is in SOLVE but NOT in RIDDLE

My sixth is in CENTROID and also in MIDDLE

My seventh is in GROUND but NOT in SPEAK

My eighth is on TOP but NOT at the PEAK (I think this is something with the keyboard)



My Whole is what?s found near many a chapel

Combined with a Mark between WEB and APPLE (this must be something on an Apple computer keyboard)
