My favourite mammaries are twice when I wasn't there: camping in the Pyrenees, just able to pick up final scores on the car radio on long wave radio 4, to hear the Arsenal score. And then later in the season I was in Germany for the Aston Villa 1-0 and only heard about it the next morning. Brilliant times.

I was also at Villa away. Cracking game, Sutch's moment of magic, Ruel genius, meeting up with old student friends, all great. I also remember Gunn's brilliance that year (despite the goal difference) and his reaction to his daughter's illness and death.
