Yeah. All the money in the world doesn't guarantee anything

If you get people who could play for top 6 teams, you're getting players with real issues (Barton), or players who have tried and failed at the very top level (SWP). It's obviously better to have as much cash as possible, but really difficult to actually spend it wisely. 2 of our best players were playing in League 1 for us a few years ago!
